Gallup has some information that says 72% of your employees are disengaged. And 18% of those are what they call, “actively disengaged.”

Sobering thought. 

Part of that result may come from the question, “Employees are emotionally invested in and focused on creating value for their organizations every day.” The “every day” part may be the qualifier that makes people respond “no – not every day,” but it does bring up a good question: what makes your employees emotionally invested in and focused on creating value for your organization? Or, even better, focused on creating value for your customers?
