Techniques for FIT
————————————————————

  • People are better with change than we give them credit for. It’s the journey to get there, the black box of ambiguity, they have problems with. Keep the destination on their minds.
  • Tie employee performance evaluations to the organization’s desired results. If you don’t, you run the risk of dragging the team to mediocrity.
  • Next week, make a point of catching your people doing something right. If you search and search and can’t find anything, consider a replacement.
  • Get out and walk under some trees. The evidence tells us there’s something magical about being out in that nature thing or whatever.

Being Human – Open up possibilities.
————————————————————

There are always options

Exercise your brain by getting it to work on hard problems. Tell yourself, “it may be impossible, but what would have to be in place for it to happen?” The words “what” and “how” combined with an action verb get your brain going. Try it next week.
