Work With Greg
Thinking about hiring a sales consultant? If you want to work with me, it's simple. I've come up with three ways to get started, from free tools you can use on your own to a sales audit that leads to full project with your team.
Who I work with
In the last decade, I've worked with individual owners and leadership teams of growing firms. Inside the firms I've worked with sales managers, individual producers, and marketing teams. My clients include professional service firms like law, consulting, architecture, or engineering, and agriculture related companies (manufacturers and distributors). I've even helped marketing and advertising agencies find new markets. If you're in or aiming to become part of the Inc. 5000, it's worth us spending some time visiting.
Examples of what I help fix
- Revenue that rides a roller coaster making planning difficult
- Expanding rainmakers beyond reliance on one or two rainmakers carrying the whole firm
- Strategy and planning for marketing new products to existing customers or existing products to new customers
- Developing talented people who are avoiding sales activity for any number of reasons
Three ways to work with me
1. Start on your own (free)
Grab my books. Watch my teleseminars. Search my newsletters and blogs. Take the 25-question FIT Assessment to learn a little more about FIT in your firm. Sign up to get one new idea a week from the Right FIT newsletter. Or maybe read my white paper featuring thought on AI in sales: high-intent prospecting.
Then schedule a free call to talk through your thoughts with me.
2. Bring me in for a day
I have a number of half-day and full-day workshops for your people. I've also found facilitated working sessions with partners, leadership, or sales teams are effective. We agree on how we'll measure progress, I interview attendees, build a session around your goals, and follow up to track results and make sure you're on track. Half-days start at $2,500.
3. Work together on a project
For a specific goal, like a revenue target, opening a new market, or lessening your reliance on one rainmaker, bring me in for an extended period of time. We'll work through my FIT process together assessing where your firm is, building plans, and putting them in action. I'll work alongside your team, and help you monitor results. Projects tend to run three to six months in length.
Common questions
What's the best way to engage a sales consultant?
I'd start with describing your goal and how it compares to where you are right now. A good consultant will give you options, whether it's a project, a workshop, or maybe they'll suggest ways to accomplish what you want with a few free tools.
Isn't it better to hire a larger firm or sign up for sales training?
It might be. I've attended a lot of training over the years. Before you talk to larger firms or sign up for out-of-the-box sales training, get a jump on the conversation with my FIT methodology. Start with the FIT Assessment and marinate in the results a little bit. It will give you a little more control over what they offer.
