Techniques for FIT

• When you're with others at an event that you feel is sub-par, check their enjoyment by asking "best and worst" questions at intermission. There's no rule you have to stay. The best part of a night out is often the company you keep. 
• When someone tells you a story resist the urge to one-up them. Ask questions and let them relive their experience. It's enjoyable. 
• Emails - once the chain is over, avoid sending the last word. Let it be. 
• When you read books this year, remember that your favorite author may have been a one hit wonder. (I'd be happy to cause any wonder!)

Some of you may know this but others don't, so if you know don't spoil it for the group. 

I have relatives. Some are blood relatives. Some are related to my by marriage. And yet others are related to me by marriage to either blood relatives or marriage relatives. 

Like UFB. 

I want to tell you about his project going on at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin. It's a restaurant and brewery. Check that. It's a ginormous gastropub a stones throw away from the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. And it's going to be perfect. 

If you haven't spent time in Wisconsin, Jim Gaffigan describes it by saying, "Eating healthy in Wisconsin is like going to Amsterdam for rehab. It just doesn't work."

UFB's Hinterland in the Titletown District is going to take that concept to a new level.   



I'm going up to, um, check the progress of things. I'll let you know how it goes. 



In the between time, if you get a chance to visit Green Bay, say, on your way to Door County this summer, I recommend you do it. It's worth the effort.
