The Art of Money Getting

In 1880, PT Barnum, The Prince of Hype, The Greatest Showman on Earth, wrote a book of advice. It's barely 80 pages in length, and you can read it here. Today's techniques are from those pages.
His advice is over 135 years old and it stands the test of time. He wrote it while the American Indian Wars were still in effect, while Edison was just forming his electric company and 30 years before Ford's Model T.
And here's what stuck with me a week after reading it: Benjamin Franklin. He's quoted a dozen times and I found a new favorite. "Saving at the spigot, wasting at the bung-hole." Sound advice and it cracks me up.
Good stuff.
